What did the sun say when it reappeared after solar eclipse?

π Partial Eclipse: Weather's Wild Card
Today marks the anticipated partial solar eclipse where Southern Colorado anticipates about 68% coverage. The approximate key timings are starting at 11:30 AM, peaking at 12:40 PM, and concluding at 1:53. Cloud cover, especially in the southern viewing area, might obscure visibility, though some sunshine may filter through higher-level clouds.
Despite potential weather challenges, viewers are advised to exercise caution. DO NOT observe the eclipse directly without specialized eyewear.
Despite potential cloudiness, the event remains a fascinating experience, with even the chance of observing animal behavior changes and slight temperature drops.
π§ Drive Safe: Lane Shifts on South Academy
Temporary on-ramp shift is ongoing for northbound S Academy from US 85/87, reducing speeds to 30 MPH for construction work lasting 5-6 months. Motorists are cautioned about shortened merge lengths at entrance ramps, with particular attention to reduced merge areas at the US 85/87 on-ramp to eastbound S Academy and Bradley Rd on-ramp to eastbound S Academy, where signage and flashing beacons are being installed for alerting drivers. Bradley Rd lanes under S Academy will also shift, and left lane closures are in place for bridge work over Bradley Rd. These closures are subject to weather conditions and potential changes.

A $50,000 grant from the Space Foundation is set to elevate the space program at Watson Junior High School. The Cadet Space Explorer Program, integrates technology and practical building exercises to foster students' understanding of space innovation. The program's aim is to educate students about space exploration, including current NASA missions like the Artemis moon mission. Students will delve into satellite construction and prototype development, such as 3D-printed CubeSats, funded by the grant to facilitate additional hands-on projects.
The initiative seeks to ignite students' interest in STEM fields like engineering and math, exposing them to potential career paths early on. With 60 students enrolled, the Space Foundation plans to expand such educational programs in Colorado Springs schools, encouraging interested parties to reach out to them for further information.
