Anja and Sandy
That's me with Anja, one of the owners of The Wynne Group (Holidays with Altitude). She is the reason 27 of you are joining me Saturday night.
Her company sponsored the tables that made every complimentary ticket possible, and she is just as excited to meet you as I am.
If you claimed a complimentary ticket, Anja is sending your formal confirmation and ticket information directly to your inbox this morning.
π« So, Are You One of the 27?
Here are the Town Tidings readers I get to meet Saturday:
Sandy B. β’ Kathy Mag. β’ LaDonna C. β’ Kathy Mic. β’ Amy W. β’ Vickie M. β’ Sue M. β’ Kent W. β’ Elizabeth W. β’ Robert Y. β’ Robert S. β’ Jan A. β’ Jean J. β’ Deanne M. β’ Dee L. β’ Heath G.
That's 16 of you, bringing plus-ones to fill 27 complimentary seats.
I cannot wait!
And if you just checked that list and thought, darn, I really wanted to go, you still can.
β€ Here's What You Get
A handful of paid seats are still available, and if you've been on the fence, I want you to know what Saturday night will actually be like (and itβs business casual, no fancy ball gowns or tuxβs needed.)
You'll sit with young people who have experienced the Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Foundation program. You'll hear firsthand how the experience affected them, what they took away from it, and you'll have a chance to ask questions. That personal connection is a big part of what makes this night different.
You'll experience the National Museum of World War II Aviation in a completely different way. The guides bring the history behind the aircraft and artifacts to life, including stories and details many of us have probably never heard. When I visited, my guide, Major Tom, was an incredible storyteller, and I walked away fascinated by how much of the history inside those hangars I simply didn't know.
There will be appetizers and drinks, so you can grab something to eat, mingle and enjoy the evening.
There's also a live raffle with some pretty incredible prizes, including something involving a B-25 that I'm still not going to spoil here. π
And finally, our Town Tidings family will actually be together in one room. We read the same newsletter every morning, but most of us have never met. Saturday night, we get to change that.
And underneath all of it is the reason we're gathering in the first place.
Your ticket supports the Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Foundation and the work it does to help young people develop the confidence, character and leadership skills they can carry with them to do amazing things in the worldβ¦and our communities.
If you've been thinking about coming, I'd love to see you there.
And one last heads-up: I'm known for my hugs! π€
However, whether we share a hug, a handshake or just a friendly wave, please come say hi. I'm genuinely excited to finally meet some of you face-to-face.
See you Saturday,
Sandy
