The National Weather Service forecasts snow to continue until noon today, with additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches expected, particularly in western and northern parts of Colorado Springs. Travel could be challenging, and drivers are advised to exercise caution and keep emergency supplies in their vehicles. Public works officials emphasize ongoing efforts to ensure safe road conditions and request patience from the community as cleanup operations progress.

Colorado Springs gears up for its 40th St. Patrick's Day Parade, led by longtime organizers John and Carol O'Donnell, featuring the Fort Carson Band and new addition, Space Force, alongside various races, a grand marshal breakfast, and a sports expo.

El Paso County offices and affiliated agencies, excluding the Sheriff’s Office, will close today, due to inclement weather. The closure applies to non-mission essential personnel and includes:
