β½ Pricey Labor Day at the Pump

You're not imagining it. Gas prices hit a new all-time high for Labor Day weekend. Colorado is averaging $4.24 per gallon for regular, with Colorado Springs coming in slightly lower at around $4.12. Nationwide, the average is $4.15 per gallon, smashing the previous Labor Day record of $3.82 set in 2012.
Diesel is even steeper, averaging $5.85 per gallon across the country. If you're heading out this weekend, the tank is going to cost you. Full Story
π A COS Fall Favorite Is Back

One of fall's most beloved local traditions is making its return. Miners Pumpkin Patch is back at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry (225 North Gate Blvd) every Sat in October. Expect hayrides, pumpkin picking, gold panning, blacksmith demos, a kids hay maze, giant games, food trucks, and animal encounters.
New this year: Spooky Stories at the Stamp Mill. And if you want to save a little, tickets are cheaper when you grab them in advance.
