With healthcare costs out of reach for so many, here is a resource worth knowing about. The Women's Wellness Connection (WWC), through Colorado Public Health, offers free or low-cost mammograms and pap smears to women who are uninsured or underinsured. If you're between ages 21 to 64 with limited income, you may qualify.
More than 100 clinics across Colorado participate. Pass this along. Someone you love might need it.

😳 7-Year Wait for Sidewalk Repairs?
If you submitted a sidewalk repair request to the city and heard nothing back, there's a reason. Colorado Springs is sitting on 6,344 open concrete service requests, with an estimated 5 to 7 year wait to work through the backlog.
The price tag? An estimated $150 million in sidewalk repairs alone, and over $1 billion in total concrete infrastructure needs. Funding through 2C and PPRTA is being applied, and specific projects are moving: Palmer Park (Union to Circle) is scheduled for next year, with Roswell neighborhood sidewalks coming spring 2027.
