Two new road closures begin today, Oct 19, see below so you can plan ahead.

Willwood tunnel on Circle Dr closes starting today through early Nov as part of the Circle Dr Bridges project. Expect delays of up to an hour near Harrison High School. The eastbound slip lane at Circle and Janitell is closed, but you can still turn right from the right lane. Detour options and updates: ColoradoSprings.gov/CircleDrBridges

Water St and North 31st St near Camp Creek are also closing today for a bridge replacement project running through April 2027. Southbound detour: Dent Ave to Pike Drive. There's a new lunch and dinner spot coming to the north side! Mendocino Farms is opening Oct 27 at the Promenade Shops at Briargate, bringing its popular sandwiches, fresh salads and seasonal favorites to Colorado Springs. This will be the restaurant's fourth Colorado location, and they're kicking things off with a few special offers for the community.
Want to try it for FREE before opening day? Mendocino Farms is hosting a training day on October 26, offering complimentary lunch or dinner with an RSVP. And if you sign up for their Mendo e-club before Oct 27, you'll receive a free entrée with any purchase, valid for two weeks after opening. Existing members can qualify by selecting Briargate as their favorite location.
There's also something nice for local schools and nonprofits. Mendocino Farms is offering 50% back on fundraising events through Feb 2027, giving community organizations another way to raise money. The grand opening is Oct 27, from 10:30am to 9pm, at 1765 Briargate Parkway, Suite 807.
