π§ Traffic Alert: Lane Closures & Shifts
Road work affecting S Academy, US 85/87 and I-25 ramps will lead to closures and lane shifts from May 5 to May 10. Drivers should expect delays and use caution, especially around shortened merge areas. Additional closures and lane shifts will continue as part of ongoing projects.
Traffic Impacts
I-25 between US 85/Fountain (MP 127) and S Academy (MP 135)
Mon, May 6 and Tues, May 7, 6 pm to 6 am: Northbound I-25 left lane closure at Mesa Ridge Pkwy (MP 132).
Fri, May 10, 7 pm to 9 am: Full closures of westbound and eastbound S Academy at I-25. Use detour route. Re-route traffic on northbound I-25 using S Academy ramps.
South Academy Boulevard Widening Project
Sun, May 5, 12 am - Thurs, May 8, 5 pm | Northbound US 85/87 right lane closure under S Academy.
Thurs, May 9, 12 pm - May 23, 5 pm | Southbound S Academy off-ramp to US 85/87 lane shift.
Ongoing full closure of existing northbound S Academy on-ramp from US 85/87 and shift to temporary on-ramp, in place for approx. 5-6 months
Ongoing northbound and southbound left lane closure at S Academy over Bradley Rd
Ongoing shift of all lanes on Bradley Rd under S Academy bridge
Fountain Creek Regional Trail under S Academy Boulevard will permanently open on Wed, May 8.
