🚧 Traffic Changes Ahead: Nevada & Fillmore

Nevada & Fillmore

Construction project at the intersection of Nevada and Fillmore, originally scheduled for early August, will now start today, Aug 13 during nighttime hours. Colorado Springs Utilities postponed the project to expand its scope and enhance safety. The work includes installing new underground electric lines to improve the reliability of the Nevada Corridor’s electric grid. Traffic will be impacted, especially from Aug 13-20, with restrictions on left turns and detours in place. This marks the last major project with significant customer impact in the area, although further grid improvements will continue over the next year.
