🌸 From Heartbreak to Healing: A Journey to Natural Wellness
🌱 Meet Chanel, the Heart and Hands Behind Simply All-Natural
Life's hardest moments often spark our most meaningful journeys. For Chanel Lilley, losing her mother to breast cancer at age fourteen ignited a lifelong dedication to understanding natural wellness. Then…when becoming a mother herself, her commitment to creating a toxin-free environment for her daughter deepened her mission even further.
Today, as the creator of Simply All-Natural, Chanel formulates pure, chemical-free products from her workshop in Falcon. Her collection ranges from revitalizing face serums, hydrating lip balms to soothing magnesium sprays, and more—the same products she uses with her own family.
"I want to share what I've learned about better choices," Chanel says, her eyes lighting up as she explains the healing properties of her ingredients.
With multiple certifications in Wellness Education and Alternative Holistic Care, Chanel brings both expertise and heart to her work.
Have you ever wondered why your skin reacts to certain products? Or what ingredients you should avoid in your daily routine? When you meet Chanel, she'll take the time to understand your concerns and explain how natural alternatives can make a real difference in your daily life.
Chanel's authentic approach to clean living has earned her a devoted following throughout Colorado Springs and beyond. Visit her at upcoming holiday markets to experience her passion firsthand and receive personalized recommendations for your wellness journey. Or you can schedule a trip to her Mini Store in Falcon, by appointment only.

❄️ Winter Weather Alert: Snowy Commute Ahead
As snow showers continue this morning, expect some challenging road conditions across southern Colorado. Colorado Springs may see 2-6 inches of snow, while areas like Woodland Park and Tri-Lakes could accumulate up to 10 inches.
The heaviest snowfall is expected in the morning, tapering off gradually during the day, but winter weather advisories will remain in effect until the evening. Take extra time for the morning commute. Full Story

🚗 2C Passes: Mayor Yemi's Message
Mayor Yemi shared his heartfelt gratitude for the support behind Ballot Issue 2C, which renews Colorado Springs’ road repair program for another ten years without additional taxes. This commitment to smoother, safer streets helps connect people to their schools, hospitals, workplaces, and communities. The mayor views this renewal as vital for building a city with strong infrastructure, economic growth, and an inviting, vibrant spirit. His message highlighted how 2C is more than just road maintenance—it's an investment in the city’s quality of life and future.

🌲 Fox Run’s New Look! Community Invited
The El Paso County Parks Department invites the community to a meeting to discuss the planned renovations at Fox Run Regional Park’s ponds and gazebo. With designs about 30% complete, the project will focus on enhancing the area’s aesthetics, safety, and usability. This meeting is an opportunity for locals to view initial design concepts and ask questions about the project’s progress and goals.
The meeting will be held on Sat, Nov 16, from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Fox Run Warming Hut, right by the ponds. Get involved and help shape the future of this cherished park area!
