🚧 Crews Fixing Water Main Break: Avoid This Busy Road
Colorado Springs Utilities crews are working to repair a water main break that happened just after midnight. Northbound lanes of Chelton Rd between Pikes Peak and Purdue are currently closed. While only 12 customers are affected, drivers are urged to avoid the area and use caution until repairs are complete. No timeline for completion has been given.
😲 No 6 PM Sunsets This Year!
Craving later daylight? Here’s a fun fact to brighten your day—this spring, Colorado Springs won’t see a single 6pm sunset.
Why? It’s all thanks to Daylight Saving Time, which skips right past it! On March 8, the sun will set at 5:59pm, by the next day, clocks will spring forward, and sunsets will jump straight to 7pm for most of Southern Colorado (with the exception of Woodland Park and Lamar.) Full Story
