🦋 "Too Old"? Psh! Embrace Your Next Chapter!
🙌 Find Your Tribe and Supportive Community with Jean Walton
In Old Colorado City, Jean Walton has transformed Everyday Girl Adventures into more than a social boutique—it is a vibrant space where women of all ages rediscover their spark while nurturing new connections. As one of ten siblings in a military family, Jean channeled her childhood lessons about finding joy in simple moments to curate experiences that celebrate life’s evolving chapters.
"Growing up, we didn't have much money," Jean reflects, "but my mom always found free community events for us to enjoy together. She showed us how shared experiences outshine material things." This is what inspired Jean to create a place where everyone feels welcome and can forge meaningful connections. Everyday Girl Adventures is where women trade ‘I should try that’ for ‘Let’s do this together!’
Her expanded 2506 W Colorado Ave location buzzes with purposeful energy: co-working nooks where personal projects blossom alongside friendships, workshops that turn "someday" dreams into today’s projects, and monthly writer’s circles where life stories meet eager listeners. The practical Handy Girl workshop series reframes car maintenance as empowerment, while the First Friday Art Walk with interactive art and fondue nights proves laughter lines ARE attractive!
Jean created Everyday Girl Adventures as a space where limitations disappear. She finds it inspiring to see women of all ages and backgrounds embrace the joy of learning something new, finding a unique kind of magic in the shared experience. It’s a place where "I can't" becomes "why not try," and first attempts are celebrated as triumphs. Jean’s belief is that shared curiosity—not expertise—fuels meaningful bonds.
Whether seeking solitary creativity or collaborative energy, guests leave with two souvenirs: artisan-crafted treasures from local makers, and the quiet confidence of having been truly seen.

🚗 Cold, Snowy & Slick—Your AM Commute Update
Bundle up—it’s a frigid start to the morning in Colorado Springs! Snow moved in overnight, and a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11am for the I-25 corridor and until 2pm for the eastern plains. Roads could be slick, so take it slow if you're heading out. Click to check this mornings delays and closures.
The snow will taper off as the day goes on, but temperatures will stay bitterly cold, only reaching the teens. And with the wind chill, it’ll feel even colder. Stay warm and drive safely!
