🏞️ What’s Changing at Garden of the Gods?

The Garden of the Gods Foundation has contributed $764,639 to help fund critical improvements at the park in 2025. This includes fire mitigation, stormwater protection, new trail signage, a ranger vehicle, and wildlife studies to ensure sustainability.

Additionally, new murals and improved wayfinding signs will be installed at the 30th St pedestrian underpass, created by local artist Douglas Rouse. With nearly $6.8 million in total contributions since its founding, the Foundation continues to play a vital role in preserving Colorado Springs’ most iconic park.

💳 This Local Man Lost $15K—Could You Be Next?

A Southern Colorado man is warning others after he lost $15,000 in a warrant scam that used fake legal documents and a spoofed phone number to seem legitimate. The scammers pressured him to act fast and demanded payment in Bitcoin, a common red flag.

Authorities say these scams happen daily, and the real sheriff’s office will never ask for money to resolve a warrant. If you get a suspicious call, hang up and contact local law enforcement directly to verify. Full Story
