☕️ Upgrade Your Coffee Game with Humble
✨ Discover Humble Exclusives: Unique coffee creations you won't find anywhere else
At Humble Coffee, every cup tells a story of passion and precision. After falling in love with coffee culture and diving deep into the art of roasting, owner Ben Campeau transformed from retirement planner to coffee artisan. Today, he leads a team of skilled baristas who craft each drink with remarkable attention to detail, driven by a mission to deliver exceptional quality and service to every customer who chooses Humble Coffee.
"What keeps us going is the tremendous support from our customers," Ben shares with genuine warmth. "They become part of our Humble family, and that's what makes every day special."
Fresh off their 11th anniversary celebration this February, Humble Coffee stands out for their in-house roasting program and signature white espresso – a unique roasting process that creates a mellow, nutty flavor profile reminiscent of peanut butter. This distinctive base allows their creative drinks to shine, from the popular Debonair (a peanut butter mocha) to the intriguing Poker (a blackberry white chocolate latte).
Part of Humble's charm lies in their uniquely named drinks, each crafted and named by their talented baristas – a testament to their creative freedom and ownership in the business. Behind every drink is a commitment to premium coffee beans, carefully selected from sustainable farms and roasted in small batches for peak freshness and flavor. Plus don't miss their monthly collectible stickers!

🚒 CSFD Launches Life-Saving Program
Colorado Springs Fire Department has introduced the TOR-MAT team, a first-of-its-kind program in Colorado aimed at helping people recover from opioid addiction. This new initiative pairs a paramedic and a behavioral health navigator who reach out within 72 hours of an overdose to offer medication-assisted treatment and recovery support.
The goal is to fill the gap between crisis and long-term care, providing life-saving resources when they’re needed most. Funded for one year through a regional grant, TOR-MAT has the potential to change lives and reshape how opioid addiction is addressed in the community.
📖 Seniors, Is This Learning Club for You?

Curiosity Unlimited at UCCS is a thriving program for seniors who love to learn, featuring monthly lectures, engaging discussions, and occasional field trips. From cutting-edge science to local history, the topics are as diverse as the members themselves.
This program fosters a sense of connection, offering a space to exchange ideas and meet new people while also giving back—members help fund scholarships for UCCS students. With affordable membership dues and a lineup of thought-provoking speakers, it’s a wonderful way to keep curiosity alive at any age. Full Story
🚶♀️ Santa Fe Trail Changes Coming

A new development between the Santa Fe Trail and I-25 near Monument is prompting discussions about trail access. To minimize disruption, planners propose relocating a section of Old Denver Road and reducing the number of trail crossings to two.
A land swap would also provide new public space along a creek bed. While many trail users hope to see the path remain unchanged, this compromise aims to balance growth with preservation. The plan is awaiting a vote from El Paso County Commissioners later this year. Full Story
