Attention, anglers! Colorado’s annual fishing licenses are on sale, giving you access to some of the best fishing spots in the state. With 90 million fish stocked by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, this season promises plenty of action. Licenses are required for ages 16 and up, with special pricing for youth and seniors. If you’re 18-64, make sure to grab a habitat stamp as well. Whether you prefer the quiet of mountain streams or the excitement of reeling in a big one at a local lake, now’s the time to get your license and start planning your next fishing trip!

🐔 Bird Flu Update: Are Pets at Risk?

Bird flu is spreading among birds, cattle, and some mammals, including cats. While it’s not a human pandemic, backyard chicken owners and pet parents should take precautions. Experts at UCHealth urge caution, but for now, the risk to most people is low.

📬 Ballots Coming—Will You Get One?

Ballots for the April 1 City Council election will be mailed tomorrow, but only for the City Council race in their specific district.

A new ballot-tracking tool allows residents to monitor their vote from mailing to receipt, adding an extra layer of security and convenience. With 28 drop-off locations citywide, returning your ballot is easy, by 7pm on Election Day. Not sure if you’re receiving a ballot? Visit ColoradoSprings.gov/VoterInfo.
