Downtown Colorado Springs turned green for the 41st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, drawing hundreds despite the chilly weather. The celebration featured the city’s biggest parade, a flat 5K, and a fun run, with nearly 100 groups—from school bands to western riders—marching through downtown. It was a memorable day for both first-time attendees and long-time fans of the tradition. Full Story

🚀 They Made It! Watch Nichole Ayers’ ISS Arrival

After a delayed launch, SpaceX’s Crew-10 successfully docked at the International Space Station, bringing four new astronauts aboard—including Colorado’s own Nichole Ayers. The Woodland Park native and Air Force Academy graduate greeted her fellow astronauts as they prepared for a six-month mission filled with research and experiments that could impact life on Earth and future space travel. 

The crew’s arrival also signals the upcoming departure of Crew-9, who have been on the ISS since last year. 🦌 Are Pronghorn Leaving El Paso County?

With Colorado Springs expanding east, its pronghorn herd is gradually shifting further out. Locals in eastern El Paso County have noticed fewer sightings, but Colorado Parks and Wildlife says the population remains stable for now. 

These speedy animals naturally relocate as their habitat changes, moving toward open spaces where they feel safe. While some developers are mindful of leaving wildlife corridors, continued growth could eventually push the herd out of our region. Full Story

🚨 Attempted Murder Arrest near Platte and Murray

Colorado Springs police arrested a 19-year-old suspect Saturday morning after responding to a domestic disturbance on Lionstone Dr, near East Platte and North Murray. Officers arrived to find a violent altercation in progress, prompting them to forcibly enter the home to secure the victim’s safety.

The suspect, now facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, is being held on a mental health hold as the investigation continues. Authorities have not released any information about the victim. Full Story
