🦒 Big Win for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Our very own, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has been named the #2 Best Zoo in the US by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, with its Rocky Mountain Wild exhibit also ranking #2 in the Best Zoo Exhibit category.
Did you know, unlike many other zoos, CMZoo does not receive tax funding, making this recognition a true reflection of the strong community support that keeps it thriving. Every visit, membership, and donation helps maintain excellent animal care, fund improvements, and support conservation efforts. Thanks to our community, this beloved local treasure continues to shine!

Officials plan to cut the backlog in half within a year and reduce turnaround times to under 90 days by 2027. The dashboard is now live, giving the public real-time updates on case processing. Full Story
