🦒 Something New is Towering at CMZoo
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is bringing its history to life with The 200 Project, a six-sculpture giraffe display honoring the more than 200 giraffe calves born at the Zoo. These towering statues will welcome guests at the entrance as part of the Zoo’s renovations leading up to its 2026 Centennial. The first two sculptures have arrived and can be seen near the carousel, offering visitors an early look at this beautiful tribute to the Zoo’s legacy.

AT&T is expanding its network in Northern Colorado Springs by installing a new cellular site near Voyager and Interquest parkways. This upgrade will improve coverage as the area grows and will introduce Band 14, a frequency dedicated to FirstNet, AT&T’s network for first responders. The expansion is part of AT&T’s broader investment in Colorado’s digital infrastructure, with over $875 million spent since 2019 to enhance connectivity and reliability.

💃 TRIVIA: Colorado Springs' Dance Visionary

This week's Trivia Tuesday focuses on Esther Geoffrey, a trailblazer in Colorado Springs' dance scene. After arriving in 1959, Esther led the Colorado College Children's and Laymen's Dance Program for 36 years and founded the Children's Dance Theater, introducing thousands to dance.
As artistic advisor to the Colorado Springs Dance Theatre, she brought renowned companies like Ballet Folklorico de Mexico and Alvin Ailey to our city. Her mentorship had a lasting impact on local dancers.
What special event recently honored Esther Geoffrey's contributions to our local arts community?
Answer: In October, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum hosted a Day of Dance Family Fun Day, celebrating Esther's legacy with over 1,200 attendees enjoying local performances and workshops. *Source
