๐ Discover True Peace of Mind
๐ฅ Trusted by Neighbors, Backed by ServiceโSee What Makes Delta Security Different
When a recent widow found herself struggling with a faulty security system and an unresponsive company, she turned to her neighbors for help. They recommended Sam Vasquez of Delta Security, a man known not just for his technical expertise, but for his genuine compassion. Sam arrived, not just to fix a system, but to listen and understand her concerns. He knew that for her, security meant more than just alarms; it meant peace of mind.
Sam isn't just a security expert; he's a veteran, former Olympic-alternate boxer, and devoted husband and proud "girl dad" who understands the importance of protecting what matters most. His commitment to family, faith, and our Colorado Springs community forms the very foundation of Delta Security.
Sam's military background as a 19 Delta, including two tours in Iraq, instilled in him the values of service, reliability, and unwavering dedication. This experience shapes his approach to security, prioritizing robust, hardwired systems that offer lasting protection. He backs every installation with a lifetime warranty on all equipment. Unlike other companies, Delta Security operates without contracts โ his service speaks for itself, earning your loyalty through consistent performance and unwavering support.
His dedication extends beyond security; he founded the Gold Star Valor Foundation to support the families of fallen service members, demonstrating his deep-rooted commitment to giving back. More on that in a future issue.
Colorado Springs Town Tidings readers receive an exclusive offer when mentioning this article: one (1) free camera upgrade with any multi-camera system!

๐ Bring the family out for some fun at Sam's charity cornhole tournament benefiting the Gold Star Valor Foundation! It's FREE to attend (only a tournament entry fee for those who want to play.) It's a family-friendly event with food, drinks, bounce houses, and of course, plenty of cornhole competition. The fun kicks off April 4 at 6:30pm and continues April 5 at 10:00am at 355 North Page Rd, COS. The event runs until the tournament champions are crowned. ๐

Just in case youโve used 23andMe, the company is in the newsโand you may want to take action. The biotech firm is filing for bankruptcy, and experts warn that a potential sale could pose privacy risks for its 15 million users. While 23andMe insists its privacy policy still applies, attorneys general in several states are encouraging customers to delete their data as a safeguard. You can do this easily through the app by selecting "permanently delete your data" under account settings. Full Story
๐ฐ Gas Rate Hike Coming April 1

Yesterday, City Council unanimously approved an increase to the natural gas fuel rates in response to the projected rise in natural gas prices this spring. Starting April 1 (this is not an April Fools joke as far as we know), Colorado Springs Utilities will adjust natural gas rates. Underground storage levels are lower than usual, driving prices up.
The average household will see an increase of about $6.47 per month, while businesses will experience higher adjustments. Despite this, local rates remain about 18% lower than other Front Range providers. Customers struggling with bills can access assistance programs, payment plans, and efficiency rebates to help manage costs.
๐พ Avoid These Pet Dangers

Welcoming a pet into your home is exciting, but itโs also important to make sure your space is safe with this advice from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. Many common items, from houseplants to foods like chocolate and grapes, can be toxic. Medications and cleaning supplies should be securely stored, and outdoor hazards like fertilizers or pesticides should be avoided.
Even with the best precautions, accidents can happen, so having your vetโs contact info handy is always a good idea. A few simple steps now can help ensure your pet stays happy and healthy for years to come!
