π The Buzzy B: Leading The Springs' Family Revolution β‘
While her classmates were choosing prom dresses, Jenn Grubb became a mother without a roadmap, searching for resources in a pre-social media world. Those early days of teen motherhood sparked a mission that would transform how Colorado Springs families connect and thrive.
Drawing from her diverse background as a young mother, law enforcement officer, and teacher, Jenn later found her true calling in the parenting resource industry. After seven years of connecting families to local resources, she channeled that expertise into something extraordinary β The Buzzy B.
Launched in June 2024, The Buzzy B goes beyond a simple events calendar. It's Jenn's vision of a comprehensive family resource that helps parents navigate their family journey. "I wanted to create what I needed back then," Jenn shares, her passion evident in every word.
Each Wednesday, Jenn personally curates local events, family activities, and writes practical guides for her newsletter. From family festivals to sensory-friendly activities, her platform ensures every family feels welcomed and supported.
You'll find Jenn out in the community, collaborating with local businesses, organizing interactive events, and building genuine connections with families. Her commitment to accessibility means all community events remain free, making family fun available to everyone.
Looking ahead, Jenn envisions The Buzzy B expanding beyond Colorado Springs, with plans for a mobile app and continued growth. Yet her core mission remains unchanged β building stronger communities through connection and support.
Check out The Buzzy B at TheBuzzyB.com or follow on Facebook.

Want to see Jenn's dynamic energy in action? Experience her largest community gathering at the "Bee-Yond" Family Fun Event on April 12. In just seven months, she's orchestrated an impressive celebration featuring 140 vendors, bounce houses, characters, food trucks, and family resources β all FREE to the public. Join the fun from 11am to 4pm at the Colorado Springs Event Center, 3960 Palmer Park Blvd.
