🌨️ Warning Issued—But Will It Really Hit?

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through Saturday for the higher elevations around Teller County, Pikes Peak, and northwestern Fremont County. Forecasts are calling for 8 to 14 inches of snow, which could make driving conditions hazardous, particularly during Friday's commute. Colorado Springs could see 2-4 inches.
While weather in Colorado is notoriously unpredictable, it’s still worth preparing for a snowy stretch in the mountains—just in case.

🏛️ Is El Paso County Meeting Its Goals? Find Out!

El Paso County has rolled out an interactive Strategic Plan Dashboard to help residents track how the County is progressing on major long-term goals. These include improving infrastructure, boosting public trust, enhancing services, and supporting health and safety. The dashboard offers real-time updates and visuals that make government actions easier to understand and more transparent. It also helps County leaders measure success, fine-tune their strategies, and stay aligned with what the community needs most.
🛰️ Hickenlooper Talks Space Command + More

During a recent town hall at UCCS, Senator John Hickenlooper addressed a crowd of engaged residents, fielding questions on hot-button topics like immigration and international conflicts.
He also stressed the importance of keeping U.S. Space Command in Colorado Springs, noting the economic and strategic impact of relocating it. Working across party lines, he’s teaming up with local leaders to ensure the investment in our city isn’t lost, especially now that Space Command is fully operational. Full Story
