🤫 Sherbet Secrets Revealed with SherBeth's Sweet Shoppe!
Remember those lazy summer days of childhood, the simple joy of a frosty treat dripping down your arm? 🍦 SherBeth's Sweet Shoppe is bringing that magic back, one indulgent scoop at a time. Meet Beth Glazener, the passionate artisan behind this delightful venture, who's crafting all-natural sherbet with a touch of whimsy and a whole lot of heart.
Beth's journey to sherbet sorceress is a heartwarming tale. After a successful corporate career and owning a graphic design business, she followed her dream to Le Cordon Bleu, earning a degree in baking and patisserie. But it was her family, especially her nieces and nephew (who cleverly coined the name "SherBeth's"), who truly inspired her to turn her homemade sherbet into a business. They recognized the special something in Auntie Beth’s creations, a taste of pure joy that speaks to the child in all of us.
And what creations they are! SherBeth's sherbet is a revelation. Made with only the finest all-natural ingredients, you won't find any mysterious chemicals or artificial colors here. Just pure, vibrant fruit flavors that shine through in every bite.

From classic raspberry and lemon to the unexpectedly delightful, salted cantaloupe and sweet corn, Beth's flavor combinations are as unique as they are delicious. And with just a touch of cream (only 4% milk product!), her sherbet is a light and refreshing indulgence. She will even make nondairy, by request.
Ready for a taste of pure bliss? Splurge on SherBeth's and discover the secret! Grab a pint of SherBeth's Sweet Shoppe at Backyard Farm Shop in Black Forest and multiple farmers’ markets. For a full list of local farmers' markets and events where you can find Beth and her decadent sherbet, be sure to visit her website and follow her on social media Instagram and Facebook.
👉👉 Psst…🤫 It's a Secret! 🎉 Colorado Springs Town Tidings subscribers get a special treat! 🍦 Mention this article at a SherBeth's market stand for a FREE upgrade to a premium flavor.😋 This special treat is exclusively for our loyal readers and only available while supplies last, so don't miss out!

🚧 Avoid This Traffic Snag Near This Hospital

Today, starting around 8am, a section of northbound N Cascade will close between E Jefferson and W Monroe while Springs Utilities crews repair a water main leak. Drivers heading to or near Penrose-St. Francis Hospital should plan alternate routes and expect some traffic changes during the repair.
💦 Splash Season Is Back!

This Memorial Day weekend, Colorado Springs is opening a variety of fountains, spray grounds, and pools for summer fun. The splash pads at Panorama Park and John Venezia Park start May 24, while Deerfield Hills’ spray ground opens June 1.
Popular water features like the Uncle Wilber and Julie Penrose fountains will also open May 24 and be running daily, along with outdoor pools at Monument Valley and Wilson Ranch (weather permitting).
However, Portal Pool and Memorial Park Family Center will remain closed due to facility issues. Hours vary by location, and water features may close on cooler or stormy days. Full Story
💧 Stormwater Work You Don’t See

As rainy season hits Colorado Springs, the city’s Stormwater Enterprise is hard at work protecting neighborhoods and natural areas from runoff caused by rain and snowmelt. The team manages infrastructure like storm drains and natural channels to prevent flooding, erosion, and pollution, all while educating the public on how to care for local waterways. Their efforts help keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful…as much as possible.
