🦍 Cuteness Alert: YOU Get to Name This Baby!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is letting the public help name their newest bundle of joy — a critically endangered Western Lowland Gorilla baby born this July. A minimum $5 donation gets you a vote between three charming names, and all proceeds support CMZoo’s future Primate World exhibit. Every donation is matched up to $25,000, doubling your impact for the animals. It’s a chance to make naming history, support gorilla conservation, and help build a beautiful new home for the Zoo’s beloved primates. Voting is open until Oct 9 at cmzoo.org/babyname.
🎉 New Korean Festival Sat in Acacia Park

Acacia Park will come alive this Saturday from 10am to 6pm for Colorado Springs’ first Korean Festival — and the largest the state has ever seen. The FREE event features live performances, games, music, and delicious food, all celebrating Korean heritage and the 80th anniversary of Korea’s independence. Organized by the Korean American Society of Southern Colorado, the festival also supports 38 Freedom, a youth-led nonprofit advocating for human rights for North Korean defectors. It’s a perfect chance to immerse yourself in something new, support a great cause, and celebrate community through culture. Full Story
🚚 Amazon’s New Springs Hub Is Open!

According to KRDO, Amazon has officially opened a new delivery station on Forge Rd in Colorado Springs yesterday, adding around 100 new jobs to the local economy. The site will play a key role in package delivery across our region, connecting larger fulfillment operations with the community. With flexible and full-time job options available, Amazon expects to grow its local workforce beyond the current 4,000 employees.
Coinciding with the opening, Amazon also donated $100,000 to youth-focused STEM education nonprofits throughout the state, reinforcing its ongoing investment in both infrastructure and community development. Full Story
🤔 Why I didn’t let AI Do This
Ever feel buried under paperwork you keep putting off? I did too. I had 90 business spotlight applicant PDFs sitting in a folder—none of them were in my CRM or spreadsheet. Ugh! 😩
Instead of manually opening each file and copy-pasting info one by one, I used AI (Copilot or ChatGPT both work). I simply uploaded the files and asked it to pull the key contact info—name, business, email, phone—output was clean info I could copy straight into Excel.
✅ No typing ✅ No reformatting ✅ No stress
This saved me HOURS (possibly days!) And more importantly—it gave me momentum again. Pretty cool, right?! 😊
*As promised, I share why I didn’t do it another way. Yes, it could’ve saved me even more time. But I didn’t do it.
🎥 In the video: I show the dashboard, how it works—and why I’m drawing the line (for now).
🤗 I want to personally invite you to join me inside AI For Everyone—a FREE community where we turn overwhelm into clarity, and scattered ideas into real progress.
It’s where the magic happens. Come see what’s working—and what’s possible!
