🧝 Downtown Gift: The Parking Elf Returns!
Now is a perfect time to take in all things Downtown Colorado Springs, because FREE PARKING, festive energy, and local shopping are coming together in the best way. Starting TODAY through Decb23, the Downtown Parking Elf (Richard Skorman) will be out plugging meters along the 300 block of North Tejon and nearby areas, helping shoppers enjoy local bookstores, cafés, toy shops, and restaurants without rushing back to feed the meter.
It’s a small but meaningful reminder of the community spirit that defines downtown during the holidays. And the generosity doesn’t stop there, downtown free parking is also available on Dec 24, 25, and Jan 1 in garages, surface lots, and on-street meters, making it even easier to linger, explore, and support local businesses during the most magical time of year.

🧘 Daily Stretch for Lifelong Mobility
I’ve been working out with Kathy Smith since back in the VHS days…yep, I still have a player and her tapes are in my daily mix. Therefore, I bring you this 10-min gentle, chair-based stretch routine that is a simple way to unwind, improve mobility, and care for your body. Designed with flexibility and aging well in mind, it focuses on slow movements, steady breathing, and listening to what feels good for your body.
