If you’re heading out today, 3 major road projects could add time to your drive. Here’s what you need to know at a glance:
🚧 Marksheffel Rd (Aug. 23 - Sept. 18)
Northbound closed from Tamlin Rd to Tarren Heights; detour via Barnes Rd to Peterson Rd to Dublin Blvd
Southbound closed at Stetson Hills Blvd; detour via Stetson Hills Blvd to Peterson Rd to Barnes Rd
🚧 Black Forest Rd (Aug. 24 - Sept. 22)
One lane each direction between Research Pkwy and Cowpoke Rd
Structural warranty repairs from the 2024 road widening project
🚧 Circle Dr Bridges
2 eastbound lanes closed from I-25 to Janitell Rd through early Sept
Las Vegas St under the Circle Dr bridges closing for approximately 1 week for related work
New waterline installation continues through end of 2026

Board & Brush Creative Studio, the Colorado Springs spot where you could walk in, pick a project, and walk out with something you made yourself, is closing its doors.
The owners shared a heartfelt farewell, expressing deep gratitude to their staff and the community of crafters who made it so special. Workshops are still running through the end of Aug, so there's still time to get one last session in.
