𦨠New Skunk Babies at CMZoo
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has introduced seven new baby skunks, with one gaining attention on social media. Denali, distinguished by his wide black stripe and predominantly more black fur than his siblings Zion, Joshua, Glacier, Mesa, Rainier, and Sandy. All are receiving regular health checks and social time. These measures ensure the skunks grow into confident ambassadors for the zoo.
π Remembering Sacrifice: Flags Mark Air Force Graves
In honor of the Memorial Day holiday, the U.S. Air Force Academy Cemetery was the site of a touching tribute as over 300 volunteers placed more than 1,500 American flags on the graves of fallen veterans. Among the attendees were family members and friends who shared heartfelt stories about their loved ones.
The event served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by these service members, with notable graves including Medal of Honor recipient Bill Crawford and legendary fighter pilot Brigadier General Robin Olds. The ceremony underscored the importance of remembering and honoring those who gave their lives for their country.

π΅ Hidden Dangers: Cellphone Risks for Your Health
Recent warnings highlight potential dangers of cellphones and other electronic devices for individuals with pacemakers or defibrillators. Magnetic fields from these gadgets can disrupt lifesaving devices.
Additionally, cellphones emit radiofrequency radiation, raising concerns about other health issues. To reduce risks, use speakerphone or headphones, avoid keeping phones close to your body, and refrain from using phones in areas with weak signals.
Precautions to Implement
Maintain Safe Distance: Keep devices at least 6 inches away from pacemakers or defibrillators.
Limit Direct Exposure: Use speakerphone or headphones to keep the phone away from your head.
Avoid Weak Signals: Use your phone only with a strong signal to reduce radiation emission. (Your phone emits more radiation, not less, when you donβt have a strong signal.)
Proper Storage: Do not carry your phone in your bra or pants pocket; use a bag instead.
Safe Sleeping Habits: Avoid sleeping with your phone under your pillow (this is also a fire hazard) or close to your head.
