🏗️ Drake Power Plant Demolition Nears End
The Drake Power Plant close to downtown Colorado Springs, a nearly century-old coal-fueled facility, is in its final days of demolition. The decision, influenced by modern environmental regulations and maintenance costs, will also improve the downtown skyline. While major structures will be demolished this week, six smaller stacks will remain for a new natural gas system. Future site use will depend on environmental assessments post-demolition.
🌯 4-Layer Enchilada Cakes
These healthy vegan enchiladas prove that everything is better in cake form. Each layer of these generously filled cakes has a different hearty filling melded together with enchilada sauce. This recipe takes some time to assemble, but it’s fun and delicious and built to impress. Make your own oil-free enchilada sauce using their tasty recipe, or look for some at the store.
