📝 Parking Frustrations? Tell the City!
Love Downtown and Old Colorado City but find parking stressful, whether it's hunting for a spot or feeding the meters during your outings? The city wants to hear from you. The City of Colorado Springs is conducting a survey to gather feedback on parking experiences in these areas. Your input will help shape a new Parking and Curb Management Plan aimed at improving accessibility and efficiency. The survey, which includes an interactive map for detailed responses, is open until August 28. Findings will guide a plan for City Council consideration in early 2025. Participate through the city’s website.
🏞️ Community Park Earns State Award
Panorama Park in Southeast Colorado Springs has earned the Starburst People's Choice Award for its outstanding use of Colorado Lottery funds. Over four years, the park has been transformed into a positive environment, fostering safety and trust in the community. Visitors appreciate the park's various amenities, including a playground, bike park, sports field, and public art. The award recognizes projects that significantly impact the community and state, with Panorama Park being one of 13 winners in 2024.
🚗 Curious Commutes: Honk for USA
If you're curious during your morning or lunch commute, you'll notice "Honk and Wave" events taking place across Colorado Springs. Today, July 26, residents and businesses are encouraged to cheer for Team USA as athletes prepare for the 2024 Olympics. Participants can bring flags and signs to various intersections to show their support.

🍫 Chocolate Frozen Raspberries
Are you ready for the most refreshing, satisfying snack? Guaranteed kids and adults will love them. They remind the author of yogurt covered raisins… but way better. It’s so simple to make and the perfect treat to have on hand.
