🚔 BREAKING NEWS: Gunmen on the Run Closes Boulder St

Boulder and North Nevada

Downtown Colorado Springs, a deadly shooting has prompted an urgent search for suspects. KKTV reported police were alerted by multiple 911 calls around 2:15 am this morning regarding gunfire near Boulder and North Nevada. Officers found a victim who was shot at least once and died at the scene.

Witnesses reported multiple masked shooters who might have escaped in a vehicle, although no detailed descriptions have been released. The victim's details remain unknown. Authorities are actively investigating and urge anyone with information to contact them right away at 719-444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP for anonymous tips. Boulder is currently closed between Tejon and Nevada.

Colorado Springs City Council has approved a plan to build an electric substation in the Templeton Gap Floodway area off of Austin Bluffs, a decision that has sparked concerns among local residents. Despite community objections, the council voted unanimously in favor of rezoning 8.1 acres for the project.
