🌡️ Why Your Neighbors Are Raving About This Local Company
🌟 Beyond Tune-Ups: Comprehensive Care for Every Season with Pendleton Heating & Cooling
In Colorado Springs, Pendleton Heating & Cooling exemplifies warmth, reliability, and exceptional service. Owned by the dedicated couple Kip and Brandy Pendleton, this business isn't just about climate control; it's about restoring integrity to the HVAC industry.
🏡 Laying the Groundwork: A Solid HVAC Foundation
Kip's journey in HVAC began in Canon City, learning and honing his skills. When the opportunity arose to take over what was once Furnace Physicians, he and Brandy, a former educator with deep Colorado roots, stepped up to the challenge. Since 2019, they've been driven by a clear mission: to bring integrity back to HVAC through their core values of quality workmanship, superior customer service, and commitment to the greater good.
🔧 Toolbox of Excellence: Services That Raise the Bar
Pendleton Heating & Cooling offers comprehensive furnace tune-ups, repairs, and replacements. As cold and flu season approaches, their air purification solutions, including TRANE CleanEffects, UV light, and electromagnetic air purifiers, ensure your family breathes easy. Each service reflects their dedication to quality and responsibility to the customers they serve.
💖 Circulating Goodwill: Giving Back to the Community
The Pendletons' commitment extends beyond HVAC. This year, they're co-sponsoring a Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat event on October 26th from 3-6pm at 3315 W Carefree Cir, embodying their value of serving and contributing to the community.
🌡️ The Thermostat of Trust: Core Values in Action
Every service call is an opportunity for Kip and Brandy to demonstrate their core values. Their focus on quality and exceptional service, coupled with a deep sense of accountability, ensures they're not just fixing systems – they're building trust and enhancing lives.
🔥 Warm Endorsements
Direct customer sentiments speak volumes. Residents like Heath Shuford call them "lifesavers," while Peter Solie praises Kip's ingenuity. Patricia Hurley and Kathy Woodin admires their responsiveness and quality. These testimonials reflect Pendleton's unwavering commitment to their values and services.

🕊️ Honoring 9/11 in Southern Colorado
On the 23rd anniversary of September 11, events across Southern Colorado will remember the victims of the 2001 attacks. In Colorado Springs, a ceremony at Memorial Park, featuring retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Mike Gould, will take place at 10am.
Meanwhile, cadets at the Air Force Academy will honor the fallen with a memorial run lasting 19 hours.
In Manitou Springs, firefighters and first responders will hike the Manitou Incline in full gear to pay tribute to the heroic efforts of their peers who risked their lives on that tragic day. Moments of silence will punctuate the hike, coinciding with key moments from the attacks. Full Story

🗳️ Prepare NOW for a Smooth Voting Process
With the November 2024 General Election approaching, El Paso County voters are encouraged to prepare now. The Clerk and Recorder’s Office advises residents to confirm your voter registration, especially if you've recently moved or changed your name.
Key election dates include the Oct 11 mailing of ballots, the Oct 28 deadline for mailing them back, and Election Day on Nov 5.
Voters should also take time to review the candidates and measures on the ballot, plan how you will vote, and spread awareness about election deadlines. Ensuring ballots are returned before the final deadline will be crucial, as late or postmarked ballots will not be counted. Full Story
🧯 Fire Safety Starts at Home—Be Ready
Recent fires in Colorado Springs, including one that left 64 people displaced, serve as a reminder for residents to prioritize fire safety. Many apartment and house fires result from unattended open flames, with candles and cooking fires being the main culprits. Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) advises residents in multi-unit buildings to have an emergency plan, ensure smoke alarms are working, and monitor potential fire hazards. In the event of a fire, it’s important to call 911 immediately, avoid dangerous escape routes blocked by flames or smoke, and alert first responders to anyone still inside. Reporting fire hazards, such as propped-open fire doors, can help prevent fires from spreading. Full Story
