⛰️ Give Back to Nature, Get Back So Much More

Since 1995, Friends of the Peak volunteers have been the dedicated guardians of Colorado Springs' most iconic landmark. While their hands shape the trails of Pikes Peak, the mountain shapes unforgettable experiences that last a lifetime.
Want a workout that matters? Join fellow nature enthusiasts for rewarding trail projects where every rock placed and path cleared helps preserve our mountain for future generations. From Seven Bridges to Barr Trail, your efforts make a real difference – and you'll see the results of your work with every future hike.
The experience goes beyond trail work. You’ll enjoy sharing stories over lunch breaks with stunning mountain views, celebrating completed projects with the group's traditional watermelon feast, and building friendships with others who share your love for the outdoors.
No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm. Projects range from light vegetation clearing to more vigorous trail building, and you choose what suits you. The 2025 schedule releases this soon, with most projects running June through August.

Ready for meaningful outdoor adventures? Contact [email protected] or visit their website or Facebook page.
