For plant lovers, the seasonal Garden Center, open daily 9am-2pm through Oct, is a must-visit. Browse a variety of annuals, perennials, hanging plants, and chat with knowledgeable staff, bringing their expertise from the dearly missed, Good Earth Garden Center.

Colorado Springs is celebrating Bike Month with free bike clinics and the return of Bike to Work Day on June 25, when riders can grab a free breakfast at more than 30 spots across the city.
The clinics, hosted by local businesses, cover topics like safety, maintenance, and gearโall open to the public. Whether you're biking or driving, nowโs a good time to stay alert and share the road, as more cyclists are expected to be commuting throughout June.
๐งฏ Gasoline, Fire, and a Mental Health Call

Police responded to an unusual and potentially dangerous situation at East Platte and North Murray, where a man poured gasoline on the street and started a fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The individual was cited for illegal burning and placed on a mental health hold. This incident highlights the importance of community awareness and compassion, especially when mental health is involved. Full Story

Wienerschnitzel has announced plans to open six new restaurants inside Walmart stores across the US, and Colorado Springs is one of the lucky locations (well, if you eat hot dogs ๐) Shoppers here can expect to see a new spot to grab hot dogs, fries, and floats while running errands by fall of 2025. Itโs part of a larger expansion by the chain to bring its nostalgic, West Coast menu to more communitiesโand now, you wonโt even need a club membership to enjoy it. Full Story
