🤔 Feeling A Little Stuck Lately?
🙏 What if you could move past old wounds without prescriptions? Meet Courtney, a local Life Alchemist who knows you can!
In a world where change often feels daunting, Courtney DeMatteo offers a warm invitation to rediscover your true self. Originally from Connecticut, she was drawn to Colorado by a dream of the breathtaking Rockies. Her professional journey began with Crystal Clarity and evolved into Life Alchemy—a unique blend of science and spirituality designed to help individuals unlock your fullest potential.
When clients feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, Courtney creates a safe space where profound healing can occur. Her approach integrates hypnosis, Reiki, and intuitive coaching, allowing people to experience deep shifts naturally, without relying on pharmaceuticals or other substances. "Life Alchemy isn't just about change; it's about reclaiming who you are," she explains. This method has led many clients to breakthroughs, helping them move past old traumas and build lives filled with purpose and joy.
Courtney's commitment to community wellness is evident through her work with veterans and her ongoing support for local organizations, fostering connection and resilience throughout Colorado Springs and beyond.
Her established E3 coaching program guides participants through three distinct phases: Empower, Enlighten, and Evolve. As she nears completion of her certification in Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), Courtney continues to deepen her impact by offering gentle, powerful alternatives to traditional methods.
If you've been feeling like something needs to shift—if you're yearning for more peace, clarity, or simply to feel like yourself again—Courtney understands.

🙏 Mayor Yemi’s Close Call & His Big Takeaway

After being hospitalized with double pneumonia, Mayor Yemi is home recovering — and grateful. During his stay at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, doctors discovered a serious blockage in one of his main arteries. The issue was resolved with a minimally invasive procedure, something that might never have been caught without the pneumonia diagnosis.
As he heals, Mayor Yemi shared how this unexpected twist has deepened his appreciation for life, public service, and the people who help keep the city running — from medical professionals to his own team and the community. He says he’s feeling renewed and ready to continue leading Colorado Springs with even greater purpose.
👩🦳 Women of History, 130 Years of Local Legacy

On June 14, the Zebulon Pike Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will mark 130 years since its founding — the first DAR chapter in Colorado, established in 1895. What began with 23 women has grown into a group of 245 local members dedicated to historic preservation, education, and honoring veterans through community service.
Though the upcoming celebration at the Peel House is a private affair, the milestone is a proud reminder of the chapter’s enduring impact in Colorado Springs. Their work continues to bridge generations, keeping the spirit of American independence alive in meaningful, modern ways. If you would like more information about the Zebulon Pike DAR and its 130th celebration, please email D Neubauer: [email protected].
🏥 Not Your Typical Hospice Center—See Why

Colorado Springs is now home to a dedicated inpatient hospice center—the first of its kind in the area—thanks to the nonprofit Pikes Peak Hospice. Designed to feel warm and welcoming, the facility goes far beyond traditional medical care, offering thoughtful touches like family gathering spaces, children’s areas, a chapel, gardens, and a veteran support room. Located at 2550 Tenderfoot Hill St.
This long-needed center was inspired by families who know the challenges of end-of-life care, and it aims to provide comfort, connection, and dignity to patients and loved ones alike. Though fundraising continues toward an $8.5 million goal, enough has been raised to open the doors and begin helping families today. Full Story
