The City of Colorado Springs will host its Quarterly ADA Forum online on today, June 12 at 1:00pm. Residents are invited to join this virtual meeting to learn about and offer input on current accessibility topics, including staffing in the Office of Accessibility, digital accessibility tools, outdoor access via trackchairs, and updates on Title VI and ADA compliance efforts.
This is a public forum, open to anyone who wishes to be part of ongoing conversations around making the city more inclusive. Participation details are available for both online and phone access, and accommodations can be arranged in advance.
🚧 Powers Lane Closures—Will It Affect You?

Construction along Powers and Airport Road is ramping up. Two southbound left lanes on Powers will be closed overnight between 7pm and 4am. to allow concrete work for permanent curbs and barriers.
Expect additional impacts in the coming weeks: westbound Airport Road near Troy Hill will see daytime right lane closures, trucks may periodically cross near the northbound Powers on-ramp, and flagging operations will occur east of Powers. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow all posted directions.

📢 What’s Happening at City Hall Saturday?

FYI, a nationwide protest movement focused on immigration enforcement policies will reach Colorado Springs this Sat, June 14. The local demonstration, part of the “No Kings” protest series, will be held from noon to 2:30pm in front of City Hall on N Nevada. Similar events are also planned in Pueblo, Manitou Springs, and Cañon City.
Organizers expect large crowds, so anyone traveling through or near the downtown area should anticipate delays and plan accordingly. Full Story
