π²Why She Actually Turns Clients Away πββοΈ
π Find out why saying "no" became their most powerful way of saying "yes" to transformation
After witnessing countless women leave salons with damaged hair and diminished self-esteem, Cass Hess channeled her years of industry expertise into creating something better. This vision materialized as Cosmos Extensions & Beauty Lounge, which opened its doors in May 2024.
The foundation of this new standard is a deep commitment to mentorship, a belief Cass solidified while guiding her own daughter, Chloe, from a new graduate to a thriving stylist. Now, every new stylist at Cosmos completes a rigorous six-month training program, ensuring that artistry and integrity are woven into every single service before they work with clients.
This philosophy means that hair health will always take precedence over profit. They carefully assess each client's natural hair to recommend only solutions it can truly supportβeven if that means advising against extensions entirely to protect a client's long-term hair health. The result is a transformation that goes beyond appearance, helping women restore their sense of self.

For Cass and Chloe, itβs about building a relationship based on trust and lasting results. This commitment is so complete that they offer the rare ability to re-tip and reuse extension hair, a service that provides exceptional value and underscores their dedication to the clientβs entire experience.
Your own journey begins with a complimentary consultation to explore the possibilities without pressure.
π Exclusively for Colorado Springs Town Tidings readers: Receive 2 complimentary signature blowout services ($120 value) with your first extension installation, helping you master caring for your beautiful new hair. π

Ready to begin your own transformation? Text or call Cass at (719) 203-2161 or visit online at cosmos.glossgenius.com, Facebook and Instagram.

π Another Legend Lost

Robert Redford, the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker, has passed away yesterday at the age of 89, leaving behind a monumental legacy. He founded the Sundance Institute and Film Festival, reshaping the world of independent cinema. His ties to Colorado are strong, having attended the University of Colorado Boulder and even filming Our Souls at Night in Colorado Springs.
His vision is alive through the Sundance Festival's upcoming move to Boulder and his impact on both filmmakers and audiences alike. Redfordβs passion for independent voices and stories will continue to inspire. Full Story
π§ Hwy 24 May Still Be Closed

A water main break shut down westbound Fountain/Hwy 24 between S Chelton and S Circle on the south side just before rush hour yesterday. As of now, thereβs been no official update on its reopening. Crews were dispatched, but Colorado Springs Utilities has not posted a follow-up. While itβs possible repairs are done, drivers are encouraged to use caution and consider alternate routes until we hear for certain, if you are running late and go this route.
β½ Gas Prices May Drop Soon

Colorado gas stations are beginning the seasonal shift from summer-blend to winter-blend gasoline, a move that typically leads to lower prices at the pump. Winter-blend fuel is about 10β15 cents cheaper to produce, thanks to its higher volatility that helps engines run more efficiently in cold weather. Although it might take a bit for stations to fully switch over β and prices could fluctuate in the short term β drivers can expect more stable and slightly lower fuel costs throughout the fall and winter months.
