The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department has issued permits for the Royal Pines Apartments, allowing construction to begin on a $39M development on the city’s north side. The project will add 232 units of affordable housing near N Union and N Powers, an area with high demand for attainable homes.

While neighbors in the Pine Creek community raised concerns about traffic congestion and safety, the project is moving forward, and many residents are watching closely to see how the new complex will impact the surrounding area. *Source
