There are always multiple projects moving through the planning process around town, and it can be hard to know which ones affect your area. Now, residents have an easier way to stay up to date. The City’s new Development Tracker map shows current and recently approved projects, allows you to search by address, and highlights upcoming neighborhood meetings and public hearings where feedback is encouraged.

Updated every two weeks, the tool is designed to give neighbors more transparency, clearer timelines, and a better understanding of how growth is shaping Colorado Springs…right down to your block.

Routine health inspections help ensure food safety across the city, and the most recent reports show a mix of outcomes. A handful of restaurants were cited for multiple violations and will need re-inspections, though all remain open while corrections are made.

As always, re-inspections are part of the process, giving restaurants the opportunity to correct issues and demonstrate compliance.

This location remains open for now, but must address specific issues before inspectors return.

*Note: Most local restaurants take food safety incredibly seriously. In fact, many owners respond to violations swiftly and thoroughly, often making fixes the same day while they wait for reinspection.

Tucked into an 8-acre neighborhood park on the east side, Henry Park’s smooth loop circles open grass, a playground, basketball court, and shady trees, making it a favorite for walkers, joggers, kids on bikes, and anyone squeezing in a quick break outdoors. With minimal elevation and a relaxed pace, it’s welcoming for all ages. There’s no official lot, but roadside parking is plentiful, and the whole loop is easy to fit into even the busiest day.
