The $66 Billion Opportunity in Weddings
Fact: People will spend for love.
Americans spent $66 billion on weddings last year. And, as always, flowers were a non-negotiable part of that spend. This highlights a unique market opportunity for The Bouqs Co. right now.
Famous for cutting the time it takes flowers to travel farm-to-door by 3x, The Bouqs Co. is already one of the country’s largest floral subscription services. But their latest expansion to 70+ brick-and-mortar stores could unlock more high-margin events, like weddings.
They already have 100% YoY growth in counties where stores have opened, with more than $1.2m in revenue per store.
You can join this chapter as they capture more of the $100b global floral market. Become an early shareholder in The Bouqs Co.

Why is March through May the best of the month to buy a mattress?

🔥 New Wildfire Plan for COS

Colorado Springs Fire Department just launched “Ready, Set, Go”... a simple 3-step plan to help families act fast when fires happen.
Ready: Pack a go-bag. Make a plan. Sign up for Peak Alerts.
Set: Conditions are changing. Be prepared to leave quickly.
Go: Evacuate immediately. Early action saves lives.
We’ve already seen over 20 red flag warnings in the Pikes Peak region this year. Dry weather and high winds can turn a small spark into a fast-moving fire.
Don’t assume it won’t happen to you. Many families who lost homes in past fires thought the same.
Prepared communities save lives. Take 10 minutes today. Pack the bag. Make the plan. Stay ready.
⚡ Clean Energy Timeline Debate

Colorado Springs Utilities says it remains committed to transitioning to cleaner energy but is asking the state legislature for additional time to meet Colorado’s 2030 emissions targets. The utility has already retired the Drake Power Plant and added solar and battery projects, but leaders say replacing power from the Ray Nixon plant by the current deadline could significantly increase electric rates due to higher-than-expected renewable energy project costs and limited transmission infrastructure.
Through Senate Bill 26-022, the utility hopes to extend the timeline so it can continue moving toward clean energy while maintaining affordable electricity and reliable service for local residents and critical military installations.

⛽ Gas Prices Rising Again

Gas prices continue to rise across Colorado Springs as global tensions linked to the conflict involving Iran influence oil markets. The current average price locally is about $3.61 per gallon, slightly higher than both the national and statewide average of $3.57.
For many drivers the increase is frustrating, but for businesses that depend on vehicles for daily operations, such as construction crews, towing companies, and service providers the higher fuel costs can quickly add up. Some businesses say they are now looking for ways to reduce unnecessary travel while hoping prices stabilize in the coming weeks. Full Story
