Finally, Skincare That Boosts NAD+ At the Source

For decades, skincare has focused on aesthetic results. But we started by asking a different question: what if instead of trying to preserve our skin's youth, we prioritized optimizing our skin's function? That's how Aramore’s  NAD+ skincare was born.

Developed by Harvard & MIT scientists, Aramore is a skincare system based on skin’s performance, not just its appearance. NAD+ production slows down significantly as we age, and this causes all the telltale science of aging.

Aramore is the only skincare formulated to help skin produce NAD+ like much younger skin would. The result? Skin that’s stronger, firmer,  and more resilient, that not only looks better, but stays healthier over time.

🌳 This Impacts Your Neighborhood

Colorado Springs City Forester Matt Puckett recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at the enormous effort required to care for the city’s urban forest, which includes more than 130,000 street trees and another 20,000 in parks. On the Behind the Springs podcast, Puckett explained how trees impact far more than just scenery, helping cool neighborhoods, improve air quality, support mental well-being, and even increase property values.

Our city has been recognized as a Tree City USA community for nearly 50 years and continues expanding tree coverage through programs like Grow Shade Together, which helps provide free trees to qualifying southeast Colorado Springs residents. Officials also encourage residents to help care for the city’s canopy by using mulch properly, reporting hazardous trees through the GoCOS app, and planting for future generations.

🥾 St. Peter's Dome Trail

Where Colorado's mining history meets spectacular views

Distance
1.3 mi
out & back

Gain
354 ft
elevation

Difficulty
Strenuous
rope scramble

Summit
9,528 ft
elevation

A reader tip from Nicole, brought this hidden “gem” to our attention because of the fluorite rock wall and hikes with her sons! St. Peter's Dome sits about 8 miles southwest of Colorado Springs in Pike National Forest, reached via Old Stage Rd (behind The Broadmoor) or Gold Camp Rd through Cheyenne Canyon. Short, punchy, and big on reward.

Most of the trail is a straightforward hike, but the summit requires a Class 3–4 scramble with a knotted rope nothing crazy, just enough to make it memorable. Views from the top stretch across Colorado Springs and Cheyenne Mountain.

The cool part: The surrounding St. Peter's Dome Mining District produced fluorite, the vivid purple-green mineral found in the rocky walls along the trail (doesn’t require a rope climb.) Keep your eyes open!

Good to Know

  • Park at the Eagles Nest Parking Lot - trailhead is signed

  • Rope scramble at summit is short (~10 ft) but requires both hands

  • Dogs allowed on leash - scramble may be tricky for pups

  • Download the AllTrails map - trail can be confusing near the top
