🌟 Let's Feature Your Business
Your Retirement Has a Vulnerability Most Advisors Never Mention.
Dollar-denominated accounts — 401(k)s, IRAs, savings — are fully exposed to inflation, currency debasement, and government policy. Most financial advisors won't tell you that, because most of them don't profit when you know. Here's what's actually available to you:
A Gold IRA uses the same tax protections you already have
Physical gold sits outside inflation and banking risk
Accounts can go live in as little as 24 hours
Zero setup fees, zero-fee buyback guaranteed
Free 2026 kit explains everything — no obligation

🤦♀️ 911 Funding Fight Continues

Colorado Springs' proposal to leave the regional El Paso-Teller County 911 Authority has sparked a growing debate among city leaders. The City says Colorado Springs handles about 75% of all 911 calls in the region but receives only about 45% of the funding, leaving local taxpayers covering more than their fair share. City leaders say creating a standalone 911 authority would provide a fairer funding model while still working closely with neighboring agencies during emergencies.
Not everyone at City Hall agrees on how to move forward. Several City Council members say they support reviewing the funding concerns but believe negotiations with the regional authority should happen before making such a significant change. Council also noted that any decision to leave the authority or create a new one ultimately requires their approval.
The discussion is far from over. City Council is expected to hear presentations from both the City and the El Paso-Teller County 911 Authority during a work session on August 10, when the future of the regional partnership will be discussed further.

🚧 Traffic Impact

Started yesterday through August 5, Peterson Dr will slow down. Crews are replacing five water valves, and traffic will drop from four lanes to one lane in each direction through the work zones.
Expect delays, especially during peak hours. Peterson Drive is a main route to Galley Road and the North Gate of Peterson Space Force Base, so plan extra time.
Also note:
Western Dr will close on the west side of Peterson Dr during work at that intersection
Traffic control devices will stay up overnight and on weekends
Closures will impact White Mountain Dr, Nez Perce Dr, and Western Dr at Peterson Dr
