If you're free this morning, this one is worth a stop. Mayor Yemi is heading to the Colorado Springs Senior Center to celebrate National Senior Citizens Day, and the whole community is welcome to join him.
The celebration runs today from 10:30-11:45am at 1514 N Hancock Ave. Mayor Yemi will deliver a proclamation recognizing the day, followed by pickleball and a Silver Key Connection Cafe gathering, a great chance to connect with neighbors and city leadership in one place.

Clear Spring Ranch Open Space sits on 930 acres in southern El Paso County, just south of Fountain along Fountain Creek - and if you haven't been, this is a great weekend to go.
The open space winds through cottonwood groves, open prairie, and easy Fountain Creek access. It's widely considered one of the best birdwatching spots in the Colorado Springs area, with hawks, great blue herons, and migratory waterfowl as regulars. Multi-use trails welcome hikers, cyclists, and equestrians alike, and the amenities make it easy for the whole family.
