π‘οΈπ Shielding Hearts, Rebuilding Lives
Does someone you know live in constant fear of their partner's next outburst? Have they been sexually assaulted and struggle to find their voice? TESSA is a lifeline for victims of domestic and sexual violence in the Pikes Peak region.
You've likely driven by their discreet Colorado Springs facility, unaware of the lives being rebuilt behind those walls. For over 45 years, TESSA has provided a comprehensive array of compassionate care to empower survivors - body, mind and spirit. From emergency shelter and a 24/7 crisis line to legal advocacy and counseling services, their programs offer a path to safety and healing.
Escaping abuse can feel impossible without a strong support system. TESSA's inclusive, judgment-free environment provides that safe space to begin again. Their deeply personal approach understands that each survivor's journey is unique and treats them with the dignity they deserve.
Just ask Andrea*, who fled years of sexual violence, or Jessica*, who found refuge after nearly being killed by her husband. TESSA was their way out and up - providing crisis intervention, shelter, counseling, and the resources to reclaim their lives.
You can help create more powerful survivor stories by volunteering, donating, or attending events like the August 24th Pasta in the Park. Visit their website, TESSACS.org
Most importantly, know that TESSA is just a call away at 719-633-3819 for anyone in crisis or their main office 719-633-1462, for general inquiries.
Seize that first step towards a life free from fear.
