๐คซ Colorado Springs' Spiciest Secret is Out!
๐ This father to son culinary legacy at Curry Culture is serving up more than just delicious Indian food
Step into Curry Culture, where the aroma of spices tells a story of family, tradition, and culinary adventure. Owner Amar Mand's journey from Minnesota to Colorado Springs, with stops in Dallas and a childhood steeped in his father's Indian restaurants, has culminated in this vibrant eatery.
Amar's father, hailing from North India, met his mother in London before settling in Minnesota. Growing up in his father's restaurants, Amar absorbed the intricacies of traditional Indian cuisine. This foundation, combined with his own innovative spirit, shapes Curry Culture's unique identity.
The daily lunch buffet, served Mon-Sat from 11am-2:30pm (Sun noon-3pm), is the perfect introduction to India's diverse flavors. Newcomers can sample a variety of dishes without commitment, while seasoned fans indulge in their favorites. The rotating selection showcases Amar's dedication to quality and tradition.
As evening falls, Curry Culture transforms. The dinner menu, available from 4-9pm, reimagines traditional dishes with a modern flair. Customer favorite Paneer Tikka Masala features house-made cheese in a vibrant sauce perfected over years.
While Amar splits his time between Curry Culture and King Restaurant Indian Kitchen & Bar, his influence is ever-present. The staff shares his passion, often relating stories behind dishes or offering personalized recommendations.
What truly sets Curry Culture apart is its blend of tradition and innovation. Each dish reflects Amar's journey โ from his father's traditional techniques to his own modern interpretations.
Located at their new location 162 Tracker Dr, Curry Culture is more than a restaurant, it's a celebration of heritage. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, you'll find a warm welcome and a meal that tells a story. As Amar says, "We're not just serving food โ we're sharing our heritage, one plate at a time."
Come experience Curry Culture for yourself. Mention this article and receive a FREE Mango Lassi with any buffet order.

๐ Unbelievable Footage: Water Main Wreaks Havoc in Springs
A water main break turned a quiet afternoon into a chaotic scene as a powerful geyser of water erupted along Broadmoor Valley Rd, causing major damage to nearby homes and vehicles. Captured on video, the shocking footage shows water shooting high into the air and raining down on homes, flooding basements, and shattering windows. One residentโs 1987 Camaro was left with a smashed windshield and dents from debris. Colorado Springs Utilities quickly responded and working through the night to repair the line with no update yet, but the damage was already done. Residents are now dealing with the aftermath, filing claims for the destruction caused. The video is a must-see to truly grasp the extent of the chaos.
๐๏ธ Nominate a Veteran for a Free AC/Furnace
One Source Home Service is offering a free air conditioning unit or furnace, including installation, to a local veteran or active-duty service member as part of the 5th annual Air Pros USA Veterans Day Giveaway. Colorado Springs residents can nominate someone they know, provided the nominee owns their home and has served in the military. The deadline for nominations is October 3, with the winner to be announced by December 31.
