🧳 Ready for a Move? Let’s Simplify

If you're considering moving to a new home, a bit of planning can make all the difference. Start by exploring neighborhoods to find the perfect fit for your needs and lifestyle. Colorado Springs offers a variety of communities with unique features, so take your time to visit different areas.

Next, begin the process of downsizing—it’s the ideal time to declutter and focus on keeping only what’s most important to you. Tackling this early can help simplify the moving process.

Financial preparation is key. Determine if selling your current home is necessary before buying a new one, and work with a lender to establish a plan that fits your goals.

Finally, team up with local REALTORS who know the Colorado Springs market well. With their expertise, the buying and selling process will feel far more manageable.

With these steps, your move within Colorado Springs can be an exciting new chapter in your life. 🔑

📊 Mortgage Trends for 2025 Buyers

Mortgage Application

After reaching a low of 6.08% in Sept, mortgage rates climbed to 6.84% by mid-Nov. While still lower than last year, many buyers are waiting to see if they’ll drop further. The Federal Reserve recently cut its interest rate by 25 basis points, marking a shift from its earlier hikes. However, experts believe significant decreases in mortgage rates won’t happen immediately, with gradual declines expected over time.

For buyers, the decision to move forward hinges on individual goals and budgets. While waiting for rates to fall further is tempting, rising home prices and limited inventory add pressure. The Fed’s Dec meeting is expected to bring another rate cut, alongside projections for 2025. If you already locked in a low rate during 2020-2021’s historic lows, refinancing may not be worthwhile for now. *Read Source
