πŸŽ„ The Christmas Spirit is Alive in Colorado Springs

πŸ’– See how a simple act of kindness grew into a movement of hope

Your own childhood memories might include gathering around a twinkling Christmas tree, but for many Colorado Springs families, that cherished moment remains just out of reach. Until now.

It started with a single act of love. When locals, David and Michelle Fein offered one Christmas tree on Craigslist in 2010, they witnessed something profound – not just gratitude, but pure joy washing over a family's face as they realized they'd finally have a real Christmas. That moment changed everything.

Now, The Christmas Tree Project transforms living rooms across our city into magical spaces where children dance in the glow of twinkling lights, where parents whisper "Santa came!" on Christmas morning, and where families gather to create memories they'll treasure forever.

The impact became clear when the Feins learned of children who had never seen a Christmas tree before, spending hours mesmerized by the twinkling lights in their own home. Those moments revealed the true meaning of their mission.

Every December, an army of local volunteers, lovingly dubbed β€œelves,” works their holiday magic. They carefully decorate each tree, turning bare branches into sparkly symbols of hope and togetherness. For many Colorado Springs families, this gift means so much more than decorationsβ€”it means dignity, tradition, and the chance to experience the full wonder of the season.

Want to help create these magical moments? Join their community of elves and be part of this heartwarming tradition. Together, we can make sure no family misses out on the joy of the season.
