🌱 Finding Wholeness: Sacred Space Therapeutics Reimagines Healthcare
💫 Wellness That Transforms "Alternative" From Luxury To Essential
Does your healthcare journey leave you feeling fragmented? Are you tired of being treated like a collection of symptoms rather than a whole person? For those seeking a different path, we've discovered an integrative wellness center right here in Colorado Springs: Sacred Space Therapeutics.
When founder Amanda Farrell faced her own battle with cancer and trauma, she discovered firsthand how conventional medicine often misses the essential interplay between mind, body, healing processes, and emotional wellbeing. This personal journey inspired her to create something different in 2020—a place where healing happens on multiple levels simultaneously.
At Sacred Space, your first visit isn't a rushed 15-minute appointment. Instead, care specialists spend a full hour or more truly listening to your story, exploring not just symptoms but life circumstances, relationships, and stressors that traditional healthcare often overlooks. This comprehensive assessment creates the foundation for personalized care that addresses root causes, not just surface problems.
What makes this approach uniquely powerful is Amanda's team of over 20 diverse practitioners working collaboratively under one umbrella. Sacred Space operates as a nonprofit, uniquely housing independent specialists. This allows them to bring together a range of services, including functional medicine, medical massage, chiropractic care, energy work and more, plus their innovative Revive Bio Chamber. Dedicated care specialists coordinate these diverse offerings to ensure your wellness journey remains seamless.
Perhaps most revolutionary is Amanda's commitment to accessibility. With membership starting at just $30 monthly, Sacred Space makes holistic care affordable without sacrificing quality. This includes access to support groups, wellness classes, and significant discounts on services—transforming "alternative" care from luxury to essential.
Amanda understands we don't heal in a vacuum. She recognizes that financial stress is the number one cause of disease, which is why she's created a different model where comprehensive care isn't reserved for the privileged few.

Whether you're managing chronic pain, seeking stress relief, or simply craving a more balanced life, Sacred Space Therapeutics offers a path to wholeness that honors all aspects of who you are.

😲 Germiest Things You Touch When Traveling

With July 4th travel in full swing, many in our community are flying, staying in hotels, or visiting family across the country. And while the fireworks might be dazzling, a summer cold or stomach bug could ruin the fun. So, stay healthy on the go with this helpful information.
It’s no secret that travel can take a toll on your immune system—but did you know the toilet handle in your hotel room isn’t the biggest culprit? A recent study tested dozens of high-touch surfaces in planes, hotels, and airports and found that some of the spots we least expect are actually the germiest. From hotel TV remotes and elevator buttons to seatbelt buckles and check-in kiosks, bacteria are lurking in more places than you'd guess.
The good news? A travel-sized hand sanitizer, a few disinfecting wipes, and a bit of awareness go a long way in keeping you—and your family—healthy while you're on the road.
🌞 Free Fun in the Parks This July

The City of Colorado Springs is marking National Park and Recreation Month with a series of free events aimed at building community and encouraging outdoor fun. Highlights include a silent disco at Panorama Park on July 11 and live music at Piñon Valley on July 25, plus kid-friendly games and special challenges like “Build Your Own Park” and the Discover COS Calendar photo contest.
It's all part of a broader effort—the 1000 Gatherings Initiative—to strengthen social connections across the city through neighborhood get-togethers in our parks. So whether you're staying local this July or just getting back in town, there's something refreshing waiting for you outdoors.
🐕 Preying on Pet Owners—Please Read

As heartbreaking as it is, a new scam is targeting local pet owners during already stressful times. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is warning about fraudulent callers claiming to have missing pets and asking for payment over the phone or through apps like Venmo. These imposters might even try to get verification codes or message through Instagram or WhatsApp.
HSPPR confirms they never request payment before reuniting someone with their pet, and they encourage anyone who receives a suspicious message or call to contact their staff directly to confirm details and stay safe. It’s an important heads-up, especially during busy summer travel when pets can more easily slip away. Full Story
