🍅 See How Our Neighbors Are Fighting Food Waste—And How You Can Help
🥗 Experience the Joy of Community—Right Here, Right Now!
Food To Power is transforming how Colorado Springs cares for one another through food. This remarkable nonprofit bridges access to fresh, healthy food and cultivates meaningful community connections. Whether recovering surplus produce, hosting educational workshops, or supporting local gardens, Food To Power’s work helps ensure that everyone—regardless of income—can enjoy nutritious meals.
The sense of unity here is tangible. Volunteers pick up, sort, and distribute thousands of pounds of good food that would otherwise go to waste, feeding families across our city and strengthening local bonds. Their Hillside Hub welcomes everyone for events and hands-on gardening—a perfect place to learn, lend a hand, and enjoy new friendships.
For those looking to give back, Food To Power offers countless opportunities. Whether you help at the community farm, join food distribution, or share your skills, every hour volunteered multiplies kindness throughout Colorado Springs.
Food To Power’s mission is powered by neighbors who care. Together, we can make a difference—one meal, one garden, one friendship at a time.
