Meet the CEO Behind the ‘Starbucks of Flowers’
Kim Tobman knows how to build giants. Having previously led businesses like Savage X Fenty and President of SKIMS, she turns digital shops into household names.
As CEO of The Bouqs Co., she’s transforming the $100B flower industry.
The company is already one of the biggest floral ecommerce brands. Their model can get flowers farm-to-door 3x more efficiently, slashing waste to below 2% and fueling 270 million stems sold.
In just the past few years, Kim has launched 5 retail stores with The Bouqs Co., all profitable in under a year. Now, they’re ready to open 70+ more. These shops can double as fast delivery centers for high-margin weddings and parties.
Bouqs’ brick-and-mortar stores are already thriving. In towns with stores, the brand has seen 100% year-over-year growth.
With $90M+ in recent revenue, this company has become a nationwide flower powerhouse. Become an early shareholder in The Bouqs Co.

😲 Why They Slept In The Backyard
⛺ It wasn’t a marital spat, it was the accidental start of your new favorite escape
Picture this: It's Friday afternoon. Your shoulders carry the weight of the week, your mind is still racing with unfinished tasks, and your soul is desperately signaling for a pause button. You crave the stillness of nature, the luxury of escape, but the thought of airports, long drives, and planning makes you sink deeper into your chair.
What if paradise was just minutes away?
Chris and Wendy Jeub understand that yearning better than most. As parents to 16 children (yes, you read that correctly), these Monument locals have earned their expertise in chaos management and the precious value of peace and quiet. Chris, entrepreneur and former teacher, discovered something unexpected.
Their journey to creating Monument Glamping began in 2019, while renovating their master bedroom, when the couple temporarily moved into a canvas tent in their backyard. What started as a makeshift solution became a revelation. Instead of "roughing it," they found themselves enchanted by the whisper of wind through trees, the brilliant canopy of stars, and the profound stillness that existed just steps from their front door.
This backyard epiphany has blossomed into something extraordinary. Forget everything you think you know about camping. Here, king-sized beds with premium linens replace sleeping bags. Climate control eliminates weather worries. Accommodations include a private hot tub where you can soak under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.
The magic of Monument Glamping isn't just in its amenities; it's in its atmosphere. Chris and Wendy maintain a strict "sanctuary policy" that protects your mental space.
Mention this article when booking to receive a complimentary bottle of their homemade wine or kombucha. Because sometimes the most extraordinary escapes aren't found after a long journey, they're discovered just around the corner.

(For the curious: Chris also mentors landowners through his "Your Land is Gold" community, sharing how they transformed their property into both sanctuary and legacy to create your own income.)

🚧 New Traffic Pattern Near I-25

Starting today, traffic patterns will shift along North Gate Blvd between northbound I-25 and Struthers Rd. Crews are continuing a stormwater improvement project, and here’s what you need to know:
One lane in each direction on North Gate
The roundabout at northbound I-25 and eastbound North Gate will be reduced to a single lane
Expect minor delays, especially as work moves closer to Struthers Rd
💡 Power Costs Changing Again

Colorado Springs Utilities customers will soon transition to the new Energy Wise time-of-day rate plan, with most changes taking effect by April 1. Electricity will cost more on weekdays from 5–9pm and less during off-peak hours. Customers may also choose alternative rate plans if they prefer a different structure. Full Story
🎨 New Murals for Ford Amphitheater

Something cool is happening at the Ford Amphitheater in 2026. Two Colorado artists are adding new murals to the space, and they’re not just decorations. They’re about that exact feeling you get when the lights go down and the music starts.
🖌️ Tyler Haynie from Colorado Springs created “Front Row Colorado,” a piece that captures what it feels like to stand right at the edge of the stage, surrounded by sound, mountains, and a crowd that’s all in.
🎨 Timothy Curry from Denver designed “Echoes of the Rockies,” blending texture and movement to reflect live music set against the Rocky Mountains.
These murals came from a statewide open call. The response was huge. The talent was real. And the VENU Arts and Culture Foundation backed it with grants and support to make it happen. Full Story
