♟️ What Military Intelligence Revealed About Divorce
📂 The surprising strategy that ensures you are never left financially vulnerable
Years ago, an active-duty Air Force intelligence officer sat across from a divorce attorney with a heavy heart. He was not thinking about global military strategy. He was simply a father wondering what his future would look like and how he would protect his family.
That officer was Nicholas Engle.
Today, he sits on the other side of that desk. Because he navigated the terrifying unknown of a dissolving marriage firsthand, he does not just practice family law. He provides the exact lifeline he once needed.
Inspired to serve his country after witnessing the tragedy of 9/11 as a high school student, Nicholas spent years in military intelligence. That unique background forged a razor-sharp, analytical mind. For his clients, this means no detail is ever overlooked. Whether he is untangling complex marital assets, securing your financial independence, or planning your estate, his meticulous preparation ensures you are never caught off guard. When it comes to protecting your future, you want the fierce, strategic precision of Nicholas.
However, when you walk through the doors of the Law Office of Nicholas Engle, the man who greets you is simply Nick. He listens with the deep, quiet empathy of someone who has walked this difficult path. He knows that facing a major life transition in your later years brings unique fears about retirement and stability. You need more than just someone to file legal paperwork. You need a trusted ally who truly understands the emotional weight of starting over.
Find clarity in the uncertainty. Contact the Law Office of Nicholas Engle today at (719) 357-5935 or visit NicholasEngleLaw.com to schedule a consultation. Let Nick help you safely and confidently navigate your next chapter.

💧 CSU Is Asking You to Cut Back on Water

This one's important for every homeowner and gardener. After a dry, warm winter, our region's snowpack is at historically low levels and Colorado Springs Utilities is asking residents to practice voluntary water conservation before mandatory restrictions become necessary. CSU's water conservation lead says: water yields this year are expected to be less than half the normal amount.
The good news? They say we're currently in decent shape but staying that way means everyone doing their part. Here's what CSU is asking:
💧 Limit outdoor watering to 3 days per week ⏰ Water before 10am or after 6pm to reduce evaporation 🔧 Fix any broken sprinkler within 10 days 🚫 Don't use water to clean your driveway, sidewalk, or patio |
Fines are possible for those who don't comply if mandatory restrictions get put in place, but CSU says the focus is on education and community effort first. A fitting reminder on Earth Day. 🌍

Electronic waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the country, and events like this keep toxic materials out of landfills and give them a second life. Full Story
🥰 A Moment of Kindness Worth Sharing
This didn’t happen here in Colorado Springs, but I had to share it anyway because it’s the kind of humanity that reminds us who we are at our best.
During the 130th Boston Marathon this past Monday, two strangers saw a runner struggling to stay on his feet. They didn't look away.
They didn't keep going. They stopped.
They picked him up, wrapped their arms around him and helped him cross the finish line together. The nightly news shared this moment, and now millions have seen it.
It's not about the race. It's about what happens when we choose to slow down for someone else.
When we lift each other up, even when it costs us something. That's the real win!
That's the kind of strength that changes everything. So here's a question for you: where have you shown up for someone recently?
