Though many anticipate a 25-basis point reduction at the upcoming FOMC meeting, followed by additional cuts in Nov and Dec, these changes are unlikely to make a major difference in affordability for many buyers.
Instead, those looking for ways to manage costs may want to explore options like assumable mortgages, which allow buyers to take over a sellerโs mortgage at a lower rate.
