👀 Inspire Curiosity In Colorado Springs
🧪 Play, Laugh, and Learn—Get Involved With Cool Science
Cool Science lights up Colorado Springs with the thrill of discovery, giving every child—and grown-up—a reason to experience “wonder”. Imagine a child’s eyes going wide as foam rockets blast into the sky, or a room erupting in laughter when science gets delightfully messy. That’s the everyday magic woven by Cool Science volunteers and friends, who know that sparking curiosity can change a life.
This local nonprofit works year-round to connect families and schools with unforgettable, hands-on STEAM experiences. Through carnivals, classroom demos, after-school clubs, and the celebrated Cool Science Festival (Sept 27-Oct12), they encourage kids to ask questions and imagine what's possible—with no barriers based on age, background, or resources. Cool Science belongs to everyone who’s ever wanted to play, learn, and explore.
And here’s where you come in: supporting Cool Science means standing beside local children as they grow bold enough to wonder, to dream, and to try. They welcome volunteers passionate about sharing joy—from prepping simple experiments, to cheering on festival visitors, to making learning feel like play.
If sharing that spark sounds right for you, connect with Cool Science. Your time and enthusiasm can ignite the next generation—with just one afternoon, you could be the reason a child finds the joy of discovery.
